Why I started God’s Healed Warriors? My name is Ryan Morrison. On November 6th, 2008 I suffered a severe heart attack. Thank God for my loving wife who refused to listen to me and instead raced me to the ER.

The ballet of staff in the ER at Tomball hospital could have only been arranged by God himself. They worked perfectly and without misstep through their protocols. I was on the cath table very quickly and received two stents to abort the heart attack.

The next morning the doctors met with my wife and me in my hospital room. They informed us that I needed quadruple bypass surgery urgently. I still had several blockages ranging from 75% to 95%. The surgeon and cardiologist wanted my heart to have a week to rest.

At 43 this all came as such a surprise. God clearly was getting my attention. Now I just needed to listen and not miss His message.

During my short rest in the hospital that week I met an 82 year old angel named Howard. He visited me after learning I was going to go through a procedure he just went through 9 days earlier. His time with me and his experience gave me courage. It was a blessing to talk with someone that God had carried over something I was going to have to cross.

On November 14th I went through the surgery and am now on my road to recovery. Thank God for His grace, mercy, and perfect timing. This free and blessed service will serve as an outreach of God’s love for His children. We are tasked to be disciples and examples of His love. Our own lives are testaments to this.
